Mudis usually weigh 18 to 29 pounds (8 to 13 kg) and stand 14 to 20 inches (35.5 to 51 cm) high at the withers.

A Mudi’s coat is usually black, brown, white and yellow. Its coat is straight and short in the leg and head areas. The remaining part of its body is covered with wavy or curly hair.
